The Senior Coordinator of Digital Media Production will be responsible for leading the production and editing of audio/visual content that will support USA Football’s Education initiatives. The senior coordinator will be evaluated on their and their team’s ability to produce and cut content for courses within pre-established deadlines and deliver videos that are consistent with our video style guides.  

Essential Functions

  • Produce new coach development online courses to support USA Football’s coach certifications and courses to bolster the depth of our certification pathway
  • Produce new player, parent and official online courses to support educational pathways for those users.
  • Manage pre-production of course videos by providing video production related insight into the scripting process and the planning and execution of video shoots
  • Work with brand director to create and maintain USA Football’s education video style guides; ensure there is a clear deliverable for each type of content created (i.e. tactical, technical, safety, leadership, etc.) 
  • Schedule, staff, plan and attend video shoots and serve as the lead video editor for the final product or assist with the production as needed
  • Act as lead videographer on video shoots
  • Develop editing calendar based on content needs, edit content that has been produced under a pre-established deadline and in accordance with the courses assigned to them; edit coach education video that is produced in-house or by a third-party production team to complete courses within a pre-established timeline
  • Lead or delegate video editing duties for other USA Football online educational products (i.e., streaming service, Coaches Notes, etc.
  • Maintain overall football education content library, log and maintain all videos relevant to Football Development to include categorizing and saving them in USA Football’s video library
  • Assist USAFB personnel locating and obtaining digital assets 
  • Provide support with general video related issues and inquiries 
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Three years of professional experience in video production (editing, production)
  • Ability to set and track department deadlines working in collaboration with department leaders and internal teams
  • Ability to meet project deadlines while delivering high-quality product
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with HD Cameras and set lighting
  • Ability to scout sites and determine equipment needs
  • Knowledge and experience with sound and post-production editing, including Stereo and multi-track editing
Preferred Education and Experience 
  • Understanding of the game of football
  • Advanced knowledge of multi-camera shooting, voice-over producing and editing 
Supervisory Responsibility
Lead a team of other digital media specialists whose primary responsibility will be to support all aspects of the digital media content creation process. Oversee the use and development of one intern. Select and lead a crew of freelance video production professionals when necessary. 
Work Environment
This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.  
Physical Demands
  • Requires the ability to sit for more than four hours per day, reading, listening, stooping, bending and manual dexterity 
  • Special vision requirements: 
    • Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more) 
    • Depth perception (3-dimensional vision, the ability to judge distance and spatial relationships 
    • Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus) 
    • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) 
    • Peripheral vision 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position.  This position requires standard work hours and some weekend work.
Occasional travel is expected for this position.
