National Team International Bowl - Equipment Manager

Position Description

USA Football will host the International Bowl presented by USA Football in Arlington, Texas at AT&T Stadium in January 2018. USA Football seeks a teachable, dedicated equipment manager who is eager be a part of the team and athlete operation efforts surrounding the International Bowl. This individual is to be organized and enthusiastic, and must possess superior listening and communication skills.

Skills Needed:

  • Experience in fitting football helmets and shoulder pads
  • Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Exceptional leadership and work ethic, with a professional demeanor and a passion for the sports industry
  • Detail-oriented and organized; ability to multi-task and take initiative
  • Highly motivated to achieve personal and professional goals

Specific job responsibilities include:

  • Fitting athletic equipment (including helmets and shoulder pads) to individual athletes
  • Monitors daily maintenance of equipment, which includes repair and general upkeep of equipment
  • Oversee stations during check-in including distribution of apparel and equipment
  • Assist during practice with set-up, hydration stations, etc.
  • Manage team check out and uniform inventory, including laundry. 


  • Stipend will be paid- $400 / week
  • Dates: USA Football will be in Arlington, TX from January 6 – January 20, 2018. We are looking to hire our equipment staff for the entire time frame.
  • Housing and meals provided for all team operations staff
  • Must be able to pass USA Football background check
  • Eligible for academic credit
