Title: Project Coordinator Intern
Intern Session: Spring (January–May)

Job Function:
The Project Coordinator Intern works under the guidance of the Project Management Office and may be assigned projects within larger initiatives to organize and oversee project teams to ensure work is done on time and in coordination with other departments. This position will see a variety of project types in action and will learn about all aspects of the project using planning, monitoring and controlling processes. 

 Job Responsibilities:
  • Accurately define tasks requirements
  • Coordinate the delivery of tasks
  • Identify and manage personnel assigned to each task and monitor and track progress
  • Coordinate and participate in project meetings and communicate information/reports to stakeholders
  • Design schedules, assign tasks and translate execution plans into real-time scheduled tasks and deliverables
  • Ensure tasks follow established guidelines that ensure they are completed as efficiently as possible
  • Communicate with stakeholders on task and/or project status
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements/Recommended Competencies:
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
  • Competency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
  • Effective communication and time management
  • High attention to detail
  • Multi-tasking, ability to manage multiple projects all at different phases in the project lifecycle
  • Experience with Wrike preferred
Must be currently enrolled or accepted to an accredited college or university, recently graduated from an accredited college or university, or currently enrolled in or accepted to an accredited graduate school. Interest in Project Management preferred.
