Summary: USA Football is seeking a highly motivated person who will serve as an intern for the Membership team. The position will work with the team to help resolve member issues in a timely manner. The Service and Experience interns are responsible for ensuring a positive experience, active communication with customers, and quality service for youth football organizations, high schools, and individual customers using USA Football’s resources. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Consult with member and prospective- member organizations  and coaches through a proactive and reactive communications regarding membership, term, usage, and issue resolution
  • Assist new organizations with Heads Up Football ®  registration process
  • Maintain internal CRM database
  • Interpret member feedback and work with USA Football’s digital team to improve current resources and user experience
  • Responsible for Promoting and Reconcile in-person clinics

Education: Recent graduate (within past 6 months) or current college student 

Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills- prior customer service skills a plus
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem- solving abilities are necessary
  • Organizational skills including ability to handle a high volume of detail- oriented work
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel required
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly

Notes:
  • Internship begins Sep 3, 2019 and ends Dec 6, 2019
  • Internship is full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Interns receive a $775 monthly stipend plus parking allowance
  • Reports to Coordinator, Service and Experience
  • Position will be located at USA Football’s headquarters based in Indianapolis, IN
  • Must secure housing and transportation in Indianapolis 
  • USA Football supports interns seeking academic credit
  • Interns must identify learning goals and work with supervisor to achieve goals 
    • Examine the organization and its industry/environment 
    • Analyze and interpret functions and responsibilities 
    • Observe professionals in various roles and participate with them where appropriate 
    • Apply academic learning to practical and professional work experiences 
    • Learn how to perform specific tasks
