Summary: USA Football is looking for a motivated individual to be a supportive member of our Marketing team. This intern will bring their prior marketing background and will be given the opportunity to expand their knowledge through a variety of different projects.  

 Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Create effective and engaging content for various marketing assets
  • Assist with production of USA Football’s email marketing
  • Contribute to marketing projects for USA Football events, programs, and products
  • Project management and production scheduling
  • Organize data and report on analytics as necessary 

 Education: Recent college graduate (within past 6 months) or current student pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, or related area

 Preferred Skills:
  • Prior experience in marketing or media communications
  • Works well in a team setting
  • Organized, detail oriented and reliable
  • Ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple projects
  • Familiar with one of the following: copywriting/editing, email marketing, project management 

  • Internship begins May 11, 2020 and ends August 7, 2020
  • Internship is full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Internships are unpaid, with a $775 nominal monthly stipend, plus parking allowance
  • Reports to Sr. Coordinator, Marketing \
  • Position will be located at USA Football’s headquarters based in Indianapolis, IN
  • Must secure housing and transportation in Indianapolis 
  • USA Football supports interns seeking academic credit
  • Interns must identify learning goals and work with supervisor to achieve goals 
  • Examine the organization and its industry/environment 
  • Analyze and interpret functions and responsibilities 
  • Observe professionals in various roles and participate with them where appropriate
  • Apply academic learning to practical and professional work experiences 
  • Learn how to perform specific tasks
