Summary/ Objective
The USA Football, Football Operations team seeks to hire a dedicated individual who will assist in all aspects of planning and execution of USA Football Coach Clinics for the 2020 season. 
     
 Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Assist with logistical planning for Youth or High School coach clinics, Advance Shoulder Tackling clinics, the FDM model and other NFL events and clinics involving both coaches and athletes.
  • Availability to travel and serve as the on-site lead at any and all clinics listed above.
  • Manage in office duties such as equipment shipments, finance submissions, Master Trainer communication, and booking travel for Master Trainers.
  • Work directly with facility contacts, Athletic Directors, and Youth commissioners when scheduling coaching clinics.
  • Work in collaboration with various USA Football Departments which support events including Service and Experience, Football Development, Legal, Finance, Digital, Sponsorship, Marketing, and Communications
  • Work in team and individual settings to coordinate events

Required Skills/Abilities
  • Experience with event operations or working with a sports organization
  • Experience working with Youth or High School coaches is preferred
  • Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Detail oriented and organized; ability to multi-task and problem solve
  • Ability to communicate effectively via email and phone
  • Organizational and project management skills
  • Hard working individual that is eager to learn and grow as a sports professional

Education and Experience:
Recent graduate (within past 6 months) or current student pursuing a degree in sports management, business or related area
Supervisory Responsibility
None
Work Environment
This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.  
Physical Demands
Requires the ability to sit for more than four hours per day, reading, listening, stooping, bending, manual dexterity and ability to lift on occasion up to 100 pounds. 
Position Type/Date/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time internship position with a paid stipend of $775 a month. 
Spring Semester 2020 and requires standard work hours.
