Title: Education Intern
Intern Session:     (January - June)
Job Function:
This position supports the execution of education, clinics, resources, and events.  This position will also support programming and assist with other functions within the education team in support of the advancement of the Football Development Model.



 Job Responsibilities:
  • Supports the creation of new programming and resources to engage USA Football    stakeholders
  • Assists with the enhancement and evolution of educational content
  • Supports the execution of educational events 
  • Supports the development of event content and suggest useful resource materials, recruit and assist facilitators and speakers/presenters, maintain attendee criteria and solicit nominees from youth football organizations, support the registration process, serve as an on-site conference assistant, provide progress reports to appropriate USA Football stakeholders
  • Support the USA Football educational council structure 
  • Attend committee meetings and observe the work of the committee, provide input on agendas and supplements in preparation for meetings, assist with the tracking of organizational and other committees' topics applicable to the committee, maintain committee contact information 
  • Represent USA Football, in presentations, at clinics, at conventions and meetings as requested and assigned
  • Attend team meetings and other staff meetings as assigned summarize notes and provide feedback
  • Support the information acquisition of current rules and regulations related to youth and high school football
  • Stay current and report on health and safety topics related to football
  • Stay current and report on athlete development and training techniques, technologies, and    products that directly or indirectly serve to advance the game of youth football
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

  • Essential Computer competency and skills
  • Be able to travel.
  • Knowledge and understanding of national sports governing bodies’ structure and function.
  • Be able to communicate effectively, maintain customer and team focus, and value differences.



Education:
Must be currently enrolled or accepted to an accredited college or university, recently graduated from an accredited college or university, or currently enrolled in or accepted to an accredited graduate school. Education, Sports Management, Health and Human Performance or other related field of study preferred.
