Position Description
USA Football will host the U.S. National Team High School Training Camp and Middle School Bowl Games this summer in Arlington, TX at the University of Texas-Arlington (UT Arlington). This event is part of USA Football’s U.S. National Team Program in building the only U.S. National Football Team that competes internationally. USA Football seeks a teachable, dedicated individual who possesses superior listening and communication skills and is eager be a part of the U.S National Teams. This individual is to be organized and enthusiastic, with an interest in event operations.


Skills Needed:
  • Highly motivated to achieve personal and professional goals
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Exceptional work ethic, with a professional demeanor and a passion for the sports industry
  • Ability to help fit, fix, and check out equipment
  • Detail-oriented and organized; ability to multi-task and take initiative
  • Experience with a sports team, athletic department and events is beneficial

Specific job responsibilities include:
  • Involved in all activities for the National Team Development Games
  • Oversee equipment fitting and check-in for each athlete
  • Assist during practices with equipment maintenance, practice and drill set-up, hydration stations, and other duties as assigned
  • Manage collection and inventory of all equipment at the conclusion of the event
  • Assist with all team scrimmages 
  • Assist National Team Staff with any event operational needs

Notes:
  • Dates: Below are the dates that USA Football will be in Arlington, TX at UT Arlington. We are looking to hire staff for both dates below. Please note which week you are applying for, or if you are available to work both weeks. (USA Football strongly prefers candidates available for both weeks) 
    • July 5 – 9, 2019 
    • July 9 – 16, 2019 
  • Stipend will be paid as follows: 
    • July 5 – 9, 2019 - $200
    • July 9 – 16, 2019 - $200
  • Housing and meals provided at UT Arlington.
  • Must pass USA Football background check, and SafeSport training
  • USA Football will contact you if you have been selected
  • Eligible for academic credit
