The Stadium Event Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing event logistics from start to finish of all Nissan Stadium events that are 5,000 people and larger (full stadium events.) Functions as facility liaison to promoters and clients. Manages, coordinates and plans all aspects of events including concerts, soccer games, football games, family events, etc. Provides on site supervision of events and staff. Performs professional, supervisory, and administrative work with all activities pertaining to event operations. 
 
Job Duties: 
  • Responsible for coordinating, execution of large events at Nissan Stadium. 
  • Work with promoters, and clients to understand expectations of successful event; serve as facility liaison to promoters and clients. 
  • Establish event needs based on client expectations; communicate staffing and logistical needs to internal department and outside agencies and vendors. 
  • Coordinate with catering, cleaning, event staff and security contractors, as well as, audio visual team, to ensure smooth execution of each event. 
  • Ensure proper execution of staffing deployments, equipment rentals and house logistics to meet client expectations. 
  • Coordinate outside vendor rentals for events, to include terms, delivery, invoicing, etc.
  • Prepare event and labor estimates; collect cost estimates based on event needs and promoter/ client requests. Work with internal department heads on recommended staffing levels. 
  • Produce and distribute event information, including event details, set up requirements, etc. 
  • Lead production meetings to review past shows/ events and review upcoming shows/ events. 
  • Implement and enforce stadium facility rules, regulations, policies and procedures, for stadium events. 
  • Ensure contractual obligations and policies are maintained. 
  • Lead planning site visits with clients. 
  • Research, review and recommend equipment, materials and supplies required in providing event planning and service. 
  • Communicate with clients to ensure all needs are met and that concerns, and requests are addressed. 
  • Work with finance department on timely and accurate event settlements. 
  • Other duties as directed by Vice President of Facility and Gameday Operations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher, preferably in Event Management or Hospitality
  • 5+ years of experience in Event Management in Arenas or Stadiums
