As a Nissan Stadium Security Shift Supervisor your role would be to over see the 24/7 Contract Security staff to enhance the safety and security of the facility by ensuring all policies and protocols are being implemented and carried out properly in support of the Department of Homeland Security Safety Act and the National Football League Stadium Security Best Practices. 

The individual in this position will report to the Director of Guest Safety. 

Responsibilities:
  • Oversees work tasks of the 24/7 Contract Security staff and applicable line level staff throughout events and day to day activities
  • Assist with training and exercises, including content development and delivery
  • Coordinate and conduct on-the-job training through development and improvement of standard operating procedures, which may include orientation to the post, review of orders, routine responsibilities and how to respond to emergency situations or specific client needs
  • Responds to minor incidents (internal or external) that occur, ensuring appropriate action is taken, all reports are properly completed, and appropriate parties are notified in a timely manner
  • Manage CCTV and all security programs and technologies used at the Stadium
  • Administer security measures and provide operational support, ensuring a safe environment for visitors, fans, and employees
  • Manage quality assurance for all policies, procedures, and technologies
  • Ensure proper and safe dock operations for shipping and receiving of commodities
  • Ensure security measures comply with State, Federal, and league requirements
  • Maintain and implement the fire safety, emergency preparedness, and life safety policies and procedures
  • Identifies issues occurring and forward to the Director of Guest Safety and/or Safety and Security Manager as appropriate. May be responsible for writing a report of the situation or assisting with an investigation as directed. 
  • Responds to site emergencies as they arise
  • Ensuring appropriate communication to the Director of Guest Safety and/or Safety and Security Manager. Responsible for maintaining positive contractor/security relationships through frequent team and contractor contact and support. 
  • Serves as the direct supervisory contact for contractor shift supervisors regarding performance, operations and department needs. Responsible for motivating, coaching, and training. Additionally, responsible for evaluating the work performance and making recommendations regarding assignments as required
  • Responsible for ensuring all Standard Operating Procedures and training information is being properly maintained and updated and all positions are properly maintained, cleaned, and organized 
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required by the Director of Guest Safety

    Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of experience in security, law enforcement, or related field
  • Currently possess or have the ability to possess State of Tennessee Unarmed Guard License or LEOSA Certification
  • CPR/First Aid/Stop the Bleed and AED training preferred
  • Comfortable training groups or individuals about operating systems and procedures
  • Preferred effective leadership experience in managerial roles
  • Ability to lead, understand and communicate effectively
  • Proactive approach toward day-to-day activities and effective planning
  • Ability to enhance and lead a positive and encouraging work environment
  • Skilled at building positive, professional relationships with both internal and external partners
  • Ability to perform well under pressure, including strong ability to multitasking
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
