Core Functions:
  • Uphold the Tampa Bay Buccaneers standards in all communication and design to maintain a cohesive, recognizable brand
  • Lead artistic development of all promotional and marketing pieces including but not limited to out-of-home, print, mobile, email, digital, collateral, signs, in-stadium murals, sales flyers, club publications – over 8,000 individual pieces
  • Manage a team of graphic designers, copywriter and interns to develop effective sales and marketing campaigns and ensure desired message is communicated 
  • Understand marketing initiatives, brand positioning and target audiences for all creative executions
  • Develop concepts, oversee projects and provide direction in an environment with tight deadlines
  • Create presentations and obtain approvals by presenting final layouts/design concepts to senior leadership and responding to feedback and requests
  • Review and approve designs, artwork, copy and graphics developed by Creative Services team 
  • Maintain graphic and copy consistency across all deliverables
  • Provide oversight of photography direction for brand campaignsPerform other duties as assigned

Management Responsibilities:
  • Employee is responsible for managing the Creative Services Team and directing the work of its employees
  • Employee is also responsible for management of employee performance, including hiring appropriate staff, conducting regular performance reviews and, if necessary, terminating staff in conjunction with human resources




Experience & Education: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in fine arts or design related field 
  • 8+ years as professional graphic designer 
 
Technical Knowledge:
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Windows is required
 
Work Environment:
The Company is a professional, fast paced, creative business environment.  Other environment conditions:
  • Extended evening, weekend work hours sometimes required; required to work all home and some away games; may have to work occasional holidays
  • Stressful and demanding work environment in executing work on short deadlines
  • Computer and desk work a significant part of daily activities
  • Sitting, standing, working with hands for extended periods of time
  • Rarely is lifting more than 20 pounds required
