The Pro Football Hall of Fame is looking for two Partnership Account Executives.

This is a unique, once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of the team at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, “The Most Inspiring Place on Earth”. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Partnership Officer and SVP of Gold Jacket Relations for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Grow departmental revenue by prospecting, developing and closing corporate partnerships for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village, and related programming and special events.
  • Identify new business revenue opportunities utilizing existing and newly-created partnership inventory (i.e., assets, activation spaces, branding, hospitality, media).
  • Develop a strong understanding of key differentiators and the competitive landscape
  • Diligently prospect. 
  • Build relationships to drive buying decisions of executives at small, medium and enterprise companies
  • Work with customers to quantify opportunities via a detailed needs analysis, and creates solutions to deliver and ensure a smooth end-to-end sales process
  • Manage pipeline and sales activity with an ability to accurately forecast
  • Find creative solutions to challenging problems
  • Effectively communicate thoughts and ideas with peers
  • Willing to risk comfort level and step into unknown projects/tasks
  • Entertain and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients
 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Most importantly, the successful candidate will be ethical and have an unquestioned level of personal and professional integrity;
  • Must have the ability to gain and enhance the respect and trust of superiors, peers, subordinates, customers and the investment community;
  • Must have the ability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion;
  • Must be a flexible and reliable team player, both within own department and within the company as a whole;
  • Must possess a strong ability to manage one’s own time and prioritize tasks
  • Must be extremely responsible, have an open and engaging personality, and a quick mind.
  • Must have a strong command of reasoned, measured decision-making based upon analyzing the pros and cons of each potential decision to be made.
 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required; preferably in sports marketing, business, or management
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years’ experience working in Sponsorship sales or equivalent 
  • Proven sales track record with strong client relationships. 
  • Design experience (Required - Microsoft PowerPoint and Word as well as Apple Keynote and Pages; Preferred – Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Experience with CRM and marketing data analytics programs
  • Experience working with Fortune 200 companies
  • Thorough understanding of the ‘world of sports business’ including a passion for the game of football
  • Media expertise and experience in social, digital and broadcast
  • Understanding of current best-in-class sponsorship practices and principles.
  • Vision and flexibility to work on a project that is in the initial phases of construction
