Job Summary/ General Description:
Under the direction of the Esports Director, this position manages the overall experience and value for the Pittsburgh Knights in the Esports division. The esports coordinator will deliver high-level communication and service to all esports teams and talent the Knights. Research and Develop the gaming industry and all its components to be able to take initiative on internal projects. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Meet regularly with the Esports Director and manage up-to-date records, performance, contracts, schedules, contract renewals, prize money, and reports of all company players, coaches, analysts, and talent.
  • Manage the day to day needs of teams and players which include, but are not limited to travel, scheduling, working with coaches and managers to resolve team issues, maintaining league standards, measuring player performance, disciplinary actions, tracking contract deliverables, and esport league standards ensuring they are met and other player-related issues that arise.
  • Work with staff to build and use analytics tools / Deliver performance results based on predetermined metrics and goals.
  • Provide monthly reports on game developers and existing/emerging trends within the current esports and gaming industry.
  • Provide team or player acquisition proposals including, but not limited to: acquisition options, assessment of players’ reputations, player/team statistics and histories, yearly projection of costs, and proposed term sheets.
  • Onboard new team members in order to become fully integrated and update player policies/onboarding procedures as needed and as requested. 
  • Manage all talent/player sponsorship/ and esport league fulfillment deliverables
  • Monitor all player social media on a regular basis, to ensure organizational and partnership standards are maintained, flagging and manage any issues/concerns.
  • Travel with the team to venues, as requested
  • Maintain key relationships with other professional teams, players, and games for partnering opportunities and report on all partnering opportunities in a timely fashion
  • Develop building full corporate and event sponsorship decks
  • Work closely with all internal departments to achieve Company goals and objectives, including tracking customer feedback, representing the brand at launches and events, and conceptualizing marketing campaigns and strategies as requested.
 
 Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management or relevant area of study.
  • 1+ years of experience managing teams.
  • High-level organization skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work evenings. Weekends, based on business needs.
  • Must be able to take initiative (emphasize), and independently complete tasks and projects.
  • Must maintain a positive, professional attitude always and be receptive to input and constructive criticism.
  • Well-versed in the usage of Email, Asana, Hubspot Sales, Linkedin Premium, Winmo (ASK), Gong (ASK), Zoomph, Discord
  • Knowledge of Esports a must.
