Summary: USA Football is seeking a Director of Business Analytics and Market Research with a passion for uncovering insights to support the advancement and growth of amateur football.  This position is responsible for partnering with leadership across all USA Football business functions to understand the key challenges and opportunities, apply appropriate data modeling as well as other quantitative and qualitative research methods to uncover insights to address those challenges and turn insights into recommendations to help advance our brand and sport.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and grow the analytics team promoting growth and development
  • Create and manage quality control standards and checks for data and reporting
  • Provide strategic and analytical support when evaluating new business opportunities
  • Utilize advanced data analytical and visualization tools to forecast, report, and visualize data
  • Plan and executive qualitative and quantitative research studies, including writing RFPS, soliciting bids, designing and programing studies, working with 3rd party vendors and leading presentations
  • Analyze third party syndicated research sources to discover insights
  • Identify and monitor market conditions or changes in the industry that may affect business strategy
  • Work directly with leadership to identify key business opportunities and address critical business challenges
  • Manage surveying initiatives including the building, execution and analysis of online surveys
  • Support all business departments with analytical consulting as requested
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, economics or related field
Required Experience: 
  • Must have at least 5-7 years of progressive responsibility in data analysis and analytics in a business environment
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills 
  • Experience conducting professional quality market research
  • Strong project management skills, great attention to detail and follow through
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, visualize and disseminate information 
  • Strategic thinker / storyteller able to analyze and translate data into actionable insight
