Fan Engagement Intern (Summer Only)

The Seattle Seahawks Fan Development Intern will report to the Fan Engagement Manager will have close association with department managers. The intern will be assigned to various duty responsibilities within Fan Engagement summer events and programs. The intern will assist with day to day activities within the department including; planning, organizing and execution of all fan-centric events. 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Include the following, other duties may be assigned. 
  • Assisting with the planning, staffing and execution of fan-centric events, programs and game day presentation 
  • Providing a presence to distribute Seahawks information 
  • Interacting and coordinating with the general public while incorporating Seattle Seahawks interactive elements and being ambassadors to the community.
  • Provide assistance with Seahawks training camp, Family Football Fest, and other administrative project duties
  • Coordinate Kids Club registration, marketing & customer service
  • Meet with supervisor on a weekly basis
  • Conduct themselves in an appropriate and positive manner while representing the Seattle Seahawks
  • Track maximum average hours throughout internship
Required Skills:
  • Recent graduate or current student majoring in marketing, communications, sports management or related field. 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must be enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent customer service
  • Expected to work up to 30 hours weekly
  • Must be able work flexible schedule where selected evenings, weekends and nights are required.
  • Must have knowledge in event production, marketing and updating customer relations management system. 
Time Frame: 
This is a summer only position lasting from early June – end of August. 
Applicant must: 
  • Be currently enrolled as a junior, senior, or recent graduate (within 6 months) from a four year college or university. Grad school students are eligible to apply as well.
  • Have authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Have a current driver’s license
  • Be able to work 30 hours per week as well as game day/nights, weekends and other various events

Selection Process:
Final applicants will be contacted and invited to participate in our interview process starting in early May. All interviews will take place at our team headquarters in Renton or at our stadium in Seattle and must be done in person. Further, we will not pay for any interview related expenses such as travel or lodging; these expenses are the sole responsibility of the applicant.
