Corporate Events Intern (Fall)

The planning and execution of private events serves as the main focus of the Corporate Events Intern. During the season, this role works within the Club Events Department on game days to support staff in the stadium’s various premium spaces.  The student selected for this position must be a strong verbal and written communicator, as well as detail and customer service oriented to work successfully with clients and guests.

•    Corporate Business Meetings
•    Food Shows
•    Science Fairs
•    Assist with daily needs of Club Events Department/other needs of full time staff within the department.
•    Answering the phone, communicating to clients, attending site visits.
•    Dealing with contracts, making/updating work orders.
•    Establish a working relationship with Aramark to plan menu/logistics of the events.
•    Establish a working relationship with 24 hour security staff, cleaning staff, etc. 
•    Overseeing load in/ the actual event day/load out.
•    Assist with the purchasing of event supplies (ex. Signs, fliers, brochures, etc.).
•    Assist with Dedication Equals Success training program for game day team members; supervisors, department, customer service, building, etc.
•    Assist with preparation for team member training; planning, correspondences, meetings, payroll, etc.
•    Assist with the contribution of articles for our Team Member Newsletter.
•    Assist with correspondences between Team Members and management and management and other organizations.
•    We will accept 1 student for the fall of 2018.
•    Must be available at least 4-5 days during the week (Monday through Friday) between the hours of 10 am and 5 pm as well as select weekends/nights for events.
•    Must receive credit for the internship.
•    The internship will run from mid-August until the completion of football season.
•    Intern would also gain experience with game day planning and preparation for the upcoming season.
•    Candidate must be flexible, dedicated, professional, creative, well spoken, have the ability to work as part of a team, possess computer skills, maintain a positive attitude, take initiative, etc.
