Motion Graphics/Video Editing Internship

The Motion Artist / Video Editing intern will possess creativity and drive, utilizing their own production skills as well as learning new skills through hands-on experience. This individual will work 40-50 hours per week in a fast-paced environment and display enthusiasm, professionalism and expert time management skills. Upon completion of the internship, it is our hope that the knowledge gained provides great value and experience towards future career endeavors in broadcasting and digital media.

TIME FRAME: 12 months, beginning May 2018


DUTIES: The following is a general list of duties pertaining to the internship. This list may change based on the needs of the department. 

š  Intern will work 40-50 hours per week and will be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary

š  Intern will assist in creation of motion graphics for broadcast, digital, social and gameday productions

š  Intern will edit content on Adobe Premiere systems for broadcast and digital use

š  Intern will log all Ravens game footage using specific formatting and strong attention to detail in Adobe Prelude

š  Intern will render and export videos for use on all Ravens platforms


REQUIREMENTS: Applicants are reviewed based on the following:

š  BA in Video Production, Film, Television, Electronic Media or equivalent experience

š  Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe After Effects & Adobe Photoshop is required

š  Knowledge of Cinema 4D, Maya or 3ds Max preferred

š  Prior experience in broadcasting and/or digital content production is a plus

š  Prior experience with a non-linear editing system is required (Adobe Premiere preferred)

š  A professional approach in all interactions with fellow Ravens staff members, players, and coaches

š  Punctuality, accountability, and keen attention to detail in each duty

š  Discretion and trustworthiness related to sensitive football-related material

š  High proficiency in verbal and written communications

š  Ability to work independently and in a group, handle several tasks simultaneously, and take direction from many sources

š  Responsible for providing own housing in the Owings Mills/Baltimore area and reliable transportation


COMPENSATION: Ravens broadcasting interns are paid an hourly wage.
