Job Summary:
The New York Jets Content Department is seeking a Studio Operations Assistant to join their award-winning team. This role will help with the technical operation of all production done from the studio.  The ideal candidate will bring passion, creativity, energy and organizational skills to our team.
Responsibilities:
• This position will assist the Studio Operations team with all elements of production. From setting up studio to performing technical positions during live and taped productions
• Log original videos for all team platforms, including Jets social media channels, broadcast shows and 1JD Films feature productions.
• Learn and grow as a cinematographer, demonstrating an understanding for lighting and shot composition for studio production.
• Work closely with post-production, ENG, remote, social media and studio teams to log all incoming media which includes live games, interviews, game highlights, scenic and all team historical content etc.
• Work to produce and edit creative video segments as part of overall content strategy.
Qualifications /Skills:
• Good communication skills are required
• Basic knowledge of how to operate audio board and microphones
• Basic knowledge of how to operate cameras and lighting
• Working on Gamedays
• Experience using editing software such as: Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
• Candidate must be extremely organized, and detail oriented with an ability to take direction from producers and editors.
• Candidate must have experience working in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies or a related field is preferred.
• A strong knowledge of the New York Jets and our history preferred.
• Previous work experience in sports is preferred.
