This role will support the Jets Social Media department across various platforms and initiatives. This person will assist in the ideating, creating and posting of content, monitoring and facilitating the social conversation, helping with analytics and the promotion of organizational priorities. This person will support all social platforms but spend significant time on TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram. 

Responsibilities 
  • Create, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily with a focus on growing fan engagement and following on all platforms  
  • Follow trends and content opportunities happening on social platforms to make suggestions on how team can leverage, relevant to the team’s social media strategy 
  • Monitor and communicate with followers of the teams account to further build relationship with fanbase
  • Help manage social content calendar, including daily content along with broader communications and marketing campaigns 
  • Work with the video, design and media relations teams on content opportunities for social media content that aligns with organizational goals 
  • Work with digital operations and editorial team to effectively promote news/analysis content
  • Stay up to date with changes on all social platforms and research new platform opportunities
  • Help compile analytics and build campaign recaps for all Jets social platforms 

Qualifications  
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, multimedia production or related field preferred
  • Deep understanding of all social media platforms, specifically Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Must be highly collaborative in the ideation/development/execution process
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills 
  • Understanding of social media analytics and metrics 
  • Experience with digital/social tracking tools 
  •  Proficient in using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere 
  • Video/motion graphics experience a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Must be a team player and a selfless professional
