Accounting and Finance: Financial/Data Analyst
The New York Jets Business Intelligence & Analytics team is a centrally placed internal consulting resource that provides data-based thought partnership and support for all major revenue lines.  Our efforts stem from the belief that knowledge of the Jets Fan is foundational to our business success.  The more we understand our fans, the better we can serve them with meaningful experiences.  This knowledge drives fan growth and enhances return for our Corporate clients.
The Director, Business Intelligence & Analytics will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining best-in-class solutions to meet these objectives.  Qualified candidates will have a strong foundation in statistics and a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and drive innovation across multiple disciplines including marketing, sales, and operations.
Our team provides critical data-based support to key functions within the New York Jets business organization. 
Key business areas and related support include (but are not limited to):
• Ticketing (e.g., pricing, market intelligence, inventory management, predictive modeling)
• Sponsorship (e.g., prospecting, data-driven sales narratives, performance measurement)
• Premium Sales (e.g., prospecting, sales process automation)
• Email and Digital Marketing (e.g., database growth, fan segmentation, dynamic customer journeys)
• Operations (e.g., gameday fan experience)
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the Business Intelligence & Analytics team by supporting existing staff with statistical rigor, data modeling and process efficiency for advanced analytics, and by setting a vision and roadmap to drive additional fan knowledge and business success
• Guide efforts to optimize our data warehouse solution in the near-term and beyond, empowering our holistic view of the Jets Fan and preparing for future data sources (both internal and external)
• Interface frequently with Jets Leadership; identifying business challenges, providing solutions, and influencing outcomes
• Develop junior analysts by providing learning opportunities across technical, analytical and “soft skill” competencies
• Maintain existing internal reporting solution, currently consumed at all levels of the organization (including Ownership)
• Oversee CRM administration
• Be a change agent; identify and drive efficiency and automation into existing processes
• Evaluate and integrate future sales technology solutions for best outcomes
• Provide additional miscellaneous support (e.g., commissions processing)
Qualifications:
• 5+ years leading and/or supporting Business Intelligence & Analytics functions
• Advanced degree in quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Analytics, Economics, Computer Science)
• Strong coding skills in R and Python and expert-level SQL experience
• Demonstrated data management experience (e.g., data modeling, data structures, data integrations)
• Curious thinker who can identify and synthesize insights between multiple disparate (and apparently disconnected) data sources
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI (existing tool), Tableau, etc.
• Ability to concisely communicate complex statistical insights and findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize and execute competing needs across multiple business lines in a fast-paced environment
• Sports industry knowledge a plus, but not required
