Communications/Community Relations: Corporate Communications
The Miami Dolphins Corporate Communications department seeks an aggressive, competitive, self-starting individual with experience and a desire to excel in the corporate communications field. The individual must be energetic, enthusiastic and have strong planning and organizational skills. The applicant must demonstrate an initiative in completing all tasks at hand. The candidate must be able to work effectively on an individual basis and within a team framework, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and achieve objectives. The applicant must have strong communication skills in English and Spanish, both verbal and written. Previous writing samples and references will be requested. This position reports to the Corporate Communications Manager.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to operate semi-autonomously. In addition to being resourceful and innovative, this candidate also should be well-organized and able to maintain multiple, large-scale projects at any one time. The applicant should have superior communication skills and able to easily draft plans and materials.
Experience in an agency setting or other faced-paced work environment is preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. This is a seasonal position, with full-time hours, some night and weekend responsibilities.

• Service oriented – Dedicated to making certain the media have the best experience possible. Able to trouble shoot, asking for feedback and ways to improve.
Duties and Responsibilities:            
• Scans and collection of coverage in print, broadcast, digital and social platforms to create recaps of media coverage around publicity efforts.
• Coordination with internal departments on key message development.
• Development of internal brand building and communication tactics.
• Pitch business- and community-related story ideas to media.
• Assistance on home game days for off-field initiatives.
• Research projects.
• Coordinate interviews with local, regional and national media.
• Transcribe select quotes.
• General office duties.
• Fluent in Spanish with ability to write, read and translate. Native speaker preferred.
• Bachelor’s in Communications degree or related degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects.
• Must be organized, proactive and self-motivated.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and social media.
• Experience in an agency setting or other faced-paced work environment is preferred.
