Mascot Manager:

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of proven success as a mascot and the ability to be to be engaging with fans on a daily basis for home games, promotional and community events. This full-time position is expected to drive new revenue, manage the official social media account for Rampage and maintain tracking for all appearance requests. This position works closely with the Director of Cheerleaders, Community Relations and Corporate Partnerships department.

Job  Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the Rams’ official mascot programming including the planning, scheduling, performances and appearances. 
  • Performs at all Rams’ home games, which includes pre-game activities, post-game activities, in-game contests, skits and group sales or sponsor-related events.
  • Works closely with all internal stakeholders including Corporate Communications/Civic Affairs, Public Relations, Ticketing, and Sponsorship Departments.
  •  Creates revenue-generating programs around Rampage and appearances.
  •  Aids in forming strong relationships with the community and helps form connections to give the organization the best exposure.
  •  Manages the official social media accounts for Rampage bringing a distinct tone and voice bringing the mascot to life.
  •  Develops, creates, and performs new performance skits to entertain the crowd and keep fans intrigued.
  •  Works in conjunction with Community Relations to develop fitness based elementary school curriculum around Play 60 and Fuel Up to Play 60 programs throughout the region.
  • Responsible for tracking and maintaining mascot program budget.
  • Manages the official social media accounts for Rampage bringing the distinct tone and voice of the mascot to life.
  •  Cares for and maintains Rampage costumes and props.
  • Assists with events for the Los Angeles Rams Cheerleaders, including yearly auditions.
  • Manages Los Angeles Rams Flag Crew.
  • Subject to all NFL and Los Angeles Rams rules and regulations on and off the field.
  • Responds to fan inquiries.

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience as a mascot; preferably at collegiate or professional level.
  • Knowledge of sports industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated experience taking initiative; self-motivated.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Enthusiastic and high energy; ability to keep the entertainment level high.
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to build a career in professional sports.
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Must be available to work all 10 home games during the NFL season.
  • Administrative skills to maintain schedules, timelines, and deadlines.


  • Full-Time, 40+ hours per week.  Some before/after hours and weekend work required.
