Job Summary
The NFL Club, Los Angeles Chargers, is looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst. This full-time position will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of the annual budget, reforecasting, assist in month-end closing and the operations of the accounting department. The ideal person for this position will have general ledger experience in a similar industry, extensive budgeting and forecasting experience, be extremely detail oriented, organized and have experience with process implementations. Experience with NetSuite or similar financial system is required. Expereince with Oracle Budgeting is a plus, but not required. 

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with and prepare annual budget and forecasts 
  • Assist in developing, preapring and analyzing actual versus budget reports for financial statements and departement P&Ls
  • Develop, parpare and publish periodic reports to track aspects of accoutning and financial statements, capital projects, budgets and forecast as directed
  • Assist in maintaining the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations in a timely manner as directed by management
  • Assist in closing the month-end thoroughly and on a timely manner
  • Assist in identifing and developing policies, procedures and controls to ensure the integrity of the financial results
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal customers and work proactively to identify and solve problems
  • Other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of related General Ledger and Financial Analyst, preferably in Sports and Entertainment Industry
  • CPA license is a plus but not required
  •  Must have experience in financial and budgeting systems similar to NetSuite and Oracle Budgeting
  • Advanced Excel skills are a requirement
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Strong organizational development and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks and organize tasks
  • Ability to exercise independent professional judgment
