About the Jacksonville Jaguars:
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional football team and a member of the National Football League. The Jaguars are one of the NFL’s youngest franchises, and played its first regular season home game on September 3, 1995. The Jaguars are owned by Shahid Khan, a visionary leader whose businesses include Flex-N-Gate (auto parts) and Fulham Football Club (UK soccer team). The Jaguars play at TIAA Bank Field in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. Under Mr. Khan’s leadership, TIAA Bank Field has evolved to include some of the most unique stadium assets, including swim spas and 19 video boards, two of which are longer than a football field.
The Jacksonville Jaguars (the “Jaguars”) are currently looking for a student to shadow the Ticketing Department as part of the Jaguars internship program. The Jaguars are committed to developing talent and interest in professional sports. An internship at the Jaguars will provide you the chance to explore your career interests, acquire marketable job skills while “learning the ropes” of the industry, establish professional contacts, and gain practical “hands on” experience.
The Jaguars internships offer meaningful educational work experiences designed to meet your academic and career goals.  The Jaguars management staff will teach and encourage, but it’s up to you to bring an enthusiasm to learn.  Through this program, you will identify learning goals and work with the Jaguars management to achieve those goals.
What You Will Learn:
  • Manage and maintain customer accounts via phone, email, and in-person communication.
  • Utilize Archtics Ticketing System and Microsoft Dynamics CRM for reports and account updates.
  • Ensure positive fan and Season Ticket Member experiences at Jaguars home games and Daily’s Place Amphitheater concerts.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing Season Ticket Member and sales prospecting events.
  • Assist in prospecting, selling, servicing, and managing premium and non-premium accounts.
  • Assist in managing ticket requests, merchandise, and event RSVPs.
Internship Qualifications:
  • Must be eligible to receive college credit for the internship.
  • Applicants must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college, or university.
  • Available from August 5, 2019 – December 29, 2019.
  • Pursuing a graduate degree in Sports Management or related field.
  • Familiarity with customer service and/or sales.
Because internships at the Jaguars are educational experiences, they are unpaid. However, the Jaguars will provide a monthly stipend to assist with expenses while participating in the internship program.
  • Term: This internship will start on August 5, 2019 and end December 29, 2019.
  • You are responsible for securing housing and transportation.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity and will not discriminate against an applicant on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information or any other legally recognized protected basis under federal, state or local laws, rules, or legal requirements.
By submitting this application, you understand that you may be subject to a pre-employment drug test.  You certify that the information in your application is true, correct and complete.  You authorize the Jaguars and its representatives to contact your prior and current employer and other references and all others for purposes of confirmation of the information you have provided.  You understand your application is subject to, among other things, your eligibility to work in the United States.
