About the Jacksonville Jaguars 
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional football team and a member of the National Football League. The Jaguars are one of the NFL’s youngest franchises, and played its first regular season home game on September 3, 1995. The Jaguars are owned by Shahid Khan, a visionary leader whose businesses include Flex-N-Gate (auto parts) and Fulham Football Club (UK soccer team). The Jaguars play at TIAA Bank Field in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. Under Mr. Khan’s leadership, TIAA Bank Field has evolved to include some of the most unique stadium assets, including swim spas and 19 video boards, two of which are longer than a football field.

This position will work with the People Development and Finance team to provide internal support for all processes regarding Jaguars onboarding, payroll, benefits and people development initiatives, especially as it relates to routine generalist practices.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with the full employee lifecycle - from posting job positions, recruiting, scheduling interviews, scheduling travel, processing onboarding paperwork, generating offer letters, ensuring 90 Day Reviews are timely, processing terminations, etc.
  • Manage the proper flow of, and maintenance of, team member databases, forms and processes, especially as it relates to TeamWork Online, Dayforce, the organization chart, drug screenings, background screenings, the direct deposit set-up, etc.
  • Routinely run reports to check for missing or erroneous employee data. 
  • Train new employees and managers on Dayforce. 
  • Respond to routine employee and previous employee needs such as: assistance with all tasks related to Dayforce, garnishment tasks and employee verifications. 
  • Help plan and execute team member events, such as: Employee Days of Service, Employee Appreciation Day, Employee Anniversary Celebration, JagsU courses, Diversity Engagement Network initiatives and events, etc.
  • Assist with other People Development, Finance and Legal needs and projects, such as: filing, scanning, 401k statements, etc.
  • Cover reception as necessary.
Job Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to take initiative, problem solve and be a quick learner.
  • Strong interest in organizational culture, diversity and engagement.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and ability to easily learn other software systems. 
  • Team player with ability to be flexible and open to new tasks.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Obtained or pursuing a degree in Finance or Human Resources, preferred.
