About the Jacksonville Jaguars 
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional football team and a member of the National Football League. The Jaguars are one of the NFL’s youngest franchises, and played its first regular season home game on September 3, 1995. The Jaguars are owned by Shahid Khan, a visionary leader whose businesses include Flex-N-Gate (auto parts) and Fulham Football Club (UK soccer team). The Jaguars play at TIAA Bank Field in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. Under Mr. Khan’s leadership, TIAA Bank Field has evolved to include some of the most unique stadium assets, including swim spas and 19 video boards, two of which are longer than a football field.

This position will work with the People Development team to provide internal support for all processes regarding Jaguars and Bold Events team member onboarding, especially as it relates to seasonal hiring when preparing for football season. This role will also assist with people development initiatives relating to talent and culture, but will primarily perform routine generalist tasks. This temporary role is especially a wonderful position for a current university student to gain experience and offer new insights.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with talent acquisition process, especially as it relates to seasonal hires. 
  • Help coordinator with subsequent steps that are involved with new hires, such as, processing drug screenings, sending/receiving background checks, processing I9 verifications, uploading documents to new hire profiles, sending/receiving offer letters. 
  • Assist game day managers with their hiring process.
  • Create new hire packets and give tours, when applicable. 
  • Assist with the ordering of various supplies that are related to acquisition.
  • Accurately key team member data into the Dayforce and our staff tracking system. After routine reports have been run to check for errors w/in our data, make necessary corrections.  
  • Assist coordinator with seasonal team member training sessions. 
  • Help plan and execute large team member events.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve engagement and new events to implement with our staff.
  • Support our partnership with the social justice team to add to overall cohesiveness and build upon company goals of impacting community justice and diversity related initiatives.
  • Assist with other People Development needs and projects, such as: filing, scanning, etc.
  • Cover reception as necessary.
Job Requirements 
  • Available December 2021 or January 2022 through December 2022.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to take initiative, problem solve and be a quick learner.
  • Strong interest and passion for organizational culture, diversity and engagement.
  • Must act with integrity and handle sensitive situations and data with utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and ability to easily learn other software systems. 
  • Positive team player with ability to be flexible and open to new tasks.
  • Have received, or in pursuit of, a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Obtained or pursuing a degree in a Human Resources field, preferred.
