The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional football team and a member of the National Football League’s AFC South Division. The Jaguars are one of the NFL’s youngest franchises, playing their first regular season home game on September 3, 1995 in Jacksonville, Fla., and have since won four division titles.  The Office Logistics Clerk assists with mailing/postal services, receiving/shipping logistics, office supply needs for the Jacksonville Jaguars corporate offices.    
Job Responsibilities
  • Schedules and prioritizes mailroom services.
  • Picks up, delivers, and processes interdepartmental and external (U.S., international) mail, parcels, and other materials.
  • Operates mailroom machinery including postage metering and document insertion equipment; performs basic maintenance as needed.
  • Maintains and develops records for billing, inventory, mailing, and parcel shipping.
  • Orders materials and supplies needed for the mail center.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with vendors, departmental customers, and other related individuals.
  • Oversees and maintains mail center budget.
  • Negotiates maintenance and new purchase contracts for machinery.
  • Oversees gathering, storage, and redistribution of surplus property.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Must have valid driver license and safe driving record. 
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of U.S. postal regulations.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize work.
  • Ability to use or learn to use mail center equipment and software.
  • Ability to work with internal support departments and external vendors.  
Education and Experience: 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of related experience, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience to provide necessary knowledge and abilities.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry, and move items weighing over 70 pounds.
  • Able to work on foot for extended periods of time.
