The Jacksonville Jaguars are currently seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Coordinator (FP&A Coordinator) to join our Finance and Accounting team. The FP&A Coordinator will primarily be tasked with completing activities necessary to help produce the monthly financial reporting packages as well as preparation of annual budgets for the Jacksonville Jaguars and other family-owned sports and entertainment businesses. The position will work closely and regularly interface with the corporate accounting team. The ideal candidate is reliable, consistent, has a keen eye for detail, exhibits a commitment to excellence, has strong problem-solving skills and takes initiative.
Job Responsibilities
  • Generate monthly department operating expense summary reports.
  • Run and reconcile the corresponding account transactional detail for each department’s operating expense report, analyze the data, and participate in monthly projection meetings.
  • Compile and reconcile data for capital expenditures and any other key performance indicator reports.
  • Investigate unusual balances, variances and fluctuations in the financial statements and propose reclasses to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Create annual departmental budget templates with expense detail and variance analysis. 
  • Manage the day-to-day budget oversight, company expense/ travel management, and company credit card purchases.
  • Manage company budget software.
  • Ad hoc reporting to inform revenue and expense decisions.
  • Other FP&A and accounting duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
  • This position requires that the person be fully-vaccinated against COVID-19, subject to applicable law.
  • 0 – 2 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or business.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office application such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proactive mindset and drive.  Ability to self-teach and learn new processes/technologies quickly.
  • Team player with independent initiative.
  • Thorough and analytical attention to detail and critical thinking.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments and priorities.
  • Ability to time manage and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skill using provided technology.
  • Positive and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a variety of team members in many departments.
  • Charts and graphs creation in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • General ledger and report writing experience with Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or Workday Adaptive Planning. 
  • Sports and entertainment industry work experience.
