Ticket Sales Account Manager
 Responsible for selling Indianapolis Colts season tickets and partial plans through face to face meetings and outbound phone calls. This is an opportunity to build loyal ticket sales partnerships growing the Colts ticket base and maximizing revenue opportunities. A team player working in a competitive and dynamic culture where accountability and wins are celebrated. Must be able to work extended and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, attend home games and outside events to service clients and generate new leads. Responsible for reaching monthly ticket sales revenue goals staying on pace to reach and exceed goals. Excellent communication skills and 3-5 years of professional selling or previous ticket sales experience is required. 
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Creatively sell available seating inventory via outbound sales calls, appointments, presentations and stadium tours
  • Meet or exceed established yearly/monthly revenue and ticket goals set for new business
  • Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation methods, as well as follow up on leads provided by sales manager
  • Work independently with minimal hands on supervision
  • Consistently exercise independent judgment in forming and executing strategies
  • Entertain and nurture relationships with clients and prospects through creative means 
  • Perform accurate and skilled deal closings
  • Enter all pertinent prospect and customer information in CRM platform for efficient reporting and historical data purposes
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • MINIMUM of 2-5 years of successful sales experience in sports, media, or direct sales is preferred
  • Experience and success in developing and building relationships with a creative consultative approach
  • Ability to communicate effectively and understand the importance of season ticket holders and fans
  • Ability to work independently and to self-motivate 
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to continue a career in professional sports with advancement opportunities 
  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Previous experience with Ticketmaster and Archtics preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Previous working experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
 
Compensation will include a base salary plus sales commission and performance bonuses.
