Photographic Services Intern
Indianapolis Colts (Indianapolis, IN)
 
SUMMARY:  The Indianapolis Colts are currently seeking a motivated and creative candidate with a strong interest in photography and football to join the Colts Photographic Services team as a full time intern.  The Photographic Services Intern will assist the Team Photographer with archiving, editing, shooting and other daily responsibilities during the 2020 season.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Photo support for stadium, community and staff events
  • Photo support/editing at all Colts home games
  • Scanning and digitizing of the Colts physical archive
  • Assist with updating Colts digital archive with metadata
  • Assist with player marketing photo shoots
  • Assist with all cheerleader photo shoots
  • Assist Team Photographer with studio/equipment set-up and tear down
  • Assist with archiving of photos
  • Assist in facilitating internal and external photo requests
 
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Photojournalism/Photo/Art
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Photo Mechanic, Adobe Lightroom, PhotoShelter
  • Sports photography experience preferred
  • Photo editing experience preferred
  • Photo archiving experience preferred
  • Working knowledge in studio and location lighting
  • Working knowledge in DSLR camera systems
  • Full time with a flexible schedule (evenings, weekends and holidays)
  • Valid drivers license (and passport preferred)
  • Ability to work in a sports and media environment in a professional manner
