Retail/Licensing: Warehouse Operations
The Routing Clerk assists the Routing Coordinator and Shipping Team in routing all outbound shipments from the DCM warehouse direct to all wholesale customers, along with other daily tasks.  The position interacts directly with the Routing Coordinator and Shipping Manager.
Job Duties: 
  • Route loads to consistently meet DCM On-Time Shipping Service Level Agreement for Standard and Non-standard orders 
  • Use Scale, TMS, and other systems to accurately manage shipping loads based on customer routing guidelines, ship dates, ship-to locations for all CO and RO order types.
  • Secure routing instructions, document control/load numbers, and schedule shipping appointments for Wholesale Accounts   
  • Prepare all necessary Freight documents prior to carrier arrival. 
  • Prepare order documents to pull and build ship loads with wave numbers, pallet counts and staging locations.     
  • Follow daily route schedule to local Pro Shops, Fans United, DFW Airport, AT&T Stadium and UPS Ground for out of town locations. 
  • Maintain and update accurate Routing Standard Operating Procedures
  • Communicate accurately with Internal business owners, carriers, drivers, and customers.
  • Vendor Chargeback’s –Stay current with National Account routing requirements. Recommend changes based on current routing requirements.
  • Special Requests & Follow Up – Assist in order processing, follow up on in-transit shipments and obtain freight quotes on special projects.  
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Previous administrative and warehouse experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office. TMS is a plus
  • Able to simultaneously manage a very high level of detail across multiple projects.
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure.
  • Able to work well within a team environment, offer assistance and support to team members whenever necessary.
  • Able to work Monday – Friday 6am-4pm with flexibility for irregular hours.
