Retail/Licensing: Warehouse Operations
The Inventory Control Manager is the process owner for the control of all inventory within the warehouse operations.  This manager will own all inventory management accountability with our operations.   This manager will be accountable for driving improvements to inventory accuracy within the operations.  They will work closely with all operating departments to improve the work associated with inventory, the quality of inventory transactions and its accuracy. This position reports into the Warehouse Operations Manager. 
Job Duties:
  • Inventory Control Manager will direct daily responsibilities and job duties of the IC Department.
  • Design and implement inventory control monitoring process across the warehouse operations.
  • Capture Inventory accuracy, help identify root cause for inventory accuracy issues, drive process improvements to reduce frequency of errors. 
  • Develop proactive strategies to anticipate and mitigate issues and risks with respect to inventory control
  • Partner with Tech/Product team to continuously improve operations and work accuracy. 
  • Forecast and staff accordingly to meet operations objectives.
  • Create and implement policies and procedures.
  • Drive a performance-based environment, metric driven by utilizing/analyzing real time data.
  • Coach and educate employees on operational policies and procedures.
  • Conduct weekly touch base operational meetings (one-on-one and group), strong communication skills – develop direct reports.
  • Identify talent, build and coach towards succession planning.
  • Onboard and train both internal hires and seasonal employees through training program
  • Complete Quality Program through completing Quality Checks on all IC functions 
  • Actively participate in operations meetings (production, operation, process, system, etc.).
  • Build performance metrics and tools to track/forecast for expectations.
  • Perform other functions and activities as directed by the Operations Manager.
  • College degree and experience preferred.
  • Previous administrative and warehouse experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to simultaneously manage a very high level of detail across multiple projects.
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure.
  • Able to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members whenever necessary.
  • Able to work Monday - Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm with flexibility for irregular hours.
