The Graphic Designer/Photographer is responsible for creating innovative, visually impactful designs for digital and print applications, that maintain the continuity and integrity of the Dallas Cowboys and other Jones family businesses. As a photographer they will also be responsible for capturing and editing visual content for multiple platforms. The Graphic Designer/Photographer reports to the Director of Graphic Design. This is a contract position in the short-term with the intent to hire based on performance.
  • Ability to design for both digital and print, including web, social media, emails, invitations, logos, brochures, postcards, flyers, signage, advertisements, sales presentations, infographics and other print collateral and special projects as assigned
  • Work with existing creative and deliver supporting designs as well as execute original designs
  • Able to prioritize projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with changing priorities
  • Preserve, protect and uphold brand standards and the use of the Cowboys marks amongst outside vendors and internal parties
  • Able to collaborate with the graphics and marketing team, other internal teams and external clients in a professional manner
  • Ability to take strategic feedback and incorporate into revisions, edits, modifications, resizing and other adjustments to previously completed work
  • Selecting photos and helping manage archives as needed
  • Help distribute photos and logos as requested from multiple departments and clients
  • Proactively seek assistance and additional resources as needed
  • Maintain an approved photo bank of images for various departments use that includes their own as well as other photographer images
  • Maintain naming conventions and meta data for all images taken and ensure they are uploaded to our photo archiving site
  • Shoot various projects as assigned including community events both onsite and offsite, The Star/Ford Center events, AT&T Stadium events, and numerous photos for The Star District as well as game day photography and practice as well as others as assigned
  • Maintain a shot list and take photos for departments needs for game week and game day including up-to-date images of players for stories, social media, etc. 

  • Minimum 2 years of graphic design and photography experience required – professional sports team experience a plus
  • Experience managing multiple projects in fast paced environment
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite on MAC Platform – specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (motion and animation software skills a plus)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience in Power Point is a plus.
  • Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members whenever necessary
  • Required to photograph all Dallas Cowboys games which will include traveling with the team to away games
  • Bachelor’s degree required, degree in graphics arts preferred
  • Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Have a self-motivated mindset
