Principle Function
The Event Operations Intern’s role will be to work side-by-side with Event Operations Managers and Coordinators to provide a standard of excellence, enhancing a guest’s experience while attending an event at AT&T Stadium. The Event Operations department includes the functions of Event Management, Game Day Staffing Operations, Guest Services, and Security Operations.

Summary of Duties and Functions
Event Management:
  • Assist Event Manager and Event Coordinators with the preparation of event materials throughout the planning and execution of stadium events.
  • Work in conjunction with and communicate closely with other internal departments as it relates to major stadium events. 
  • Serve as event manager for special events as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned by Event Operations event management team.

Game Day Staffing Operations:
  • Maintain the collection, input, and documentation of part-time event staff information.  
  • Assist with event-related communications to Game Day Staff as needed.
  • Support event logistics such as Employee Check-In area, ID Badges, and equipment distribution.
  • Assist with preparation of stadium collateral materials (Guest Guide, Stadium website information, Call Center resources).
  • Collaborate with Guest Services and Security Coordinators on training materials for Game Day Staff trainings and assist in the delivery of Game Day Staff training programs.

Guest Services:
  • Help in the development and implementation of Guest Services standards at AT&T Stadium.
  • Promptly respond to staff and guest comments received in writing, email, or over the telephone.
  • Compile a database of guest contacts as it pertains to inquires at AT&T Stadium.
  • Support Guest Services department programs such as; Lost and Found and the Flag Flying program

Security Operations:
  • Provide general assistance to the stadium security manager and security coordinator as required.
  • Assist with electronic record keeping including daily reports and logs, incident cards, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by Event Operations security operations team.

  • Current student or recent graduate from a university program in venue management, event management, sport management or a related field.
  • Previous experience coordinating events/programs preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with ABI Mastermind preferred.
  • Able to work well within a team environment, helping and support to team members whenever necessary.
  • Able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Able to stand for up to 10 hours
  • Able to withstand various weather conditions such as, but not limited to, 100 degree plus and below freezing temperatures
