TITLE:                                    CRM Database Manager
DEPARTMENT:                    Business Analytics
REPORTS TO:                      Director of Business Analytics with dotted line to VP of Ticket Sales

As a CRM Database Manager for the Dallas Cowboys, this person will assist in a variety of functions, with primary focus being on-site data related support for ticket sales and service.  The role will be involved with all aspects of supporting our organization’s use of CRM.  The role will help make data-driven decisions across ticketing and marketing by providing insights from data analysis and observations from the marketplace. Potential analyses include ticket pricing, ticket sales velocity, season ticket member retention, season ticket member lead scoring and gameday satisfaction. The analyst will produce clear management dashboards to visualize data from various sources including ticket partner, data warehouse, and internal CRM. 
The ideal candidate will have a background with Microsoft CRM and SQL as well as thinking strategically. This person must be able to handle multiple projects at once and work across various business lines on an ad hoc basis. While the primary focus will be on supporting ticketing, opportunities may arise to assist with other areas across the business. The ideal candidate must be able to work well with others since many projects will involve working alongside business lines for analyses and new opportunities.
  • Drive the analytic needs of the business by working with key stakeholders to develop well defined reporting requests that drive business value
  • Enhance analytics aimed at providing visibility to the business through the introduction of business intelligence and various metrics
  • Analyze data, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations aimed at introducing business efficiencies
  • Serve as technical expert for all data-related questions and issues arising from the Ticket Sales & Service department
  • Scope, research, design, and develop reporting to evaluate various inquiries that may originate from different resources
  • Use internal and external data sources to offer guidance in determining the optimal pricing model of seat options, season tickets, and dynamically priced Standing Room tickets.
  • Create accurate documentation, which may include business requirements, customer requirements, or technical specifications, that can be utilized in future reporting
  • Support implemented DW/BI solutions by monitoring data loads and addressing user questions concerning data integrity
  • Manage the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) data process that populates CRM with data tables from warehouse/database
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must meet the following minimum requirements:
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Good understanding of data warehouse concepts 
  • Strong analytical skills along with detail-oriented nature
  • Data-driven mindset while also understanding potential courses of action based on the data
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) a plus
  • Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements
  • Excellent communicator and team player who relates well to others
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to be flexible
  • Self-driven with a keen sense of delivering completed projects in a timely manner
