Summary of Position:
The Pro Shop Store Manager will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of the company’s retail operations, including sales, staff management and scheduling, merchandising and customer service.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Interview and hire store associates, and ensure proper staffing levels and schedules are maintained to meet store needs
·         Recruit and train nonprofit groups for game day service
·         Provide store associates customer service training and coaching to make sure customers are assisted quickly, positively and in a friendly manner
·         Monitor products, merchandise and displays to ensure that the store is well stocked, organized and fully merchandised
·         Manage store budgets and maintain financial records, including closing and balancing of daily deposits
·         Address staff and customer queries and complaints in a professional manner 
·         Maintain a well-organized back store room
·         Conduct yearly Physical Inventory
·         Must be able to work weekends, evenings and special events, including at least ten (10) home games
·         Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and achieve workload effectively
·         Good communication skills, both written and verbal
·         Must be people-oriented, able to work with patrons and co-workers in a professional and pleasant manner
·         Cash handling skills, balancing daily deposits, closing experience
·         Merchandise receiving and pricing  
·         Experience in Store Marketing
·         Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
·         Bachelor's degree required
·         Three (3) to five (5) years of retail management experience – sports industry preferred
·         Strong Computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
·         Proficient with Point of Sales (POS) systems
