The Cincinnati Bengals are seeking a hands-on and innovative Manager of Creative Services. Someone with strong leadership skills, who can inspire and stimulate thought, while simultaneously creating world-class creative for all Cincinnati Bengals outlets and platforms. The ideal candidate would be an expert in visual design and in fostering a fast-paced creative environment that promotes the free flow of ideas.

The Manager of Creative Services would have multiple responsibilities including being the organization’s senior graphic designer and manager of brand guidelines. They would collaborate with fellow team members and senior leadership to conceive and execute original concepts meant to advance the Bengals brand… The goal is to become a creative leader in the National Football League. 

  • Reporting to the Director of Content, the Manager of Creative Services will be the executor of all graphic design and visual content.
  • Create memorable creative visuals: logos, typography, presentations, photoshop comps, print ads, web banners etc. for promotional, JungleVision, social & digital channels.
  • Responsible for creative ownership, oversight and tracking of all multiplatform components created for a campaign including graphics, promos, digital elements, and any other related marketing materials.
  • Work with our leadership, marketing and content teams to develop the right visuals and voice for the Bengals brand.
  • Ability to create a scope of work and manage project plans with timelines and understanding of prioritizing resources, tasks, and personnel.
  • Ability to clearly communicate project status, timelines, deliverables, goals, and expectations to the internal team and other departments on a regular basis.
  • Lead brainstorm sessions with multiple departments to foster fresh and innovative ideas for Bengals campaigns and creative assets.
  • Constantly researches industry trends, case studies, social media/digital initiatives to stay up-to-date and bring new ideas to inspire the team.
  • Management of brand licensing.

  • 5+ years of visual design, graphic design, or as an art director.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced, demanding environment, while managing sensitive projects.
  • Expert knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Proven ability to storyboard and create unique, engaging concepts.
  • Current or recent experience in professional or collegiate sports.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and people skills.
  • Intimate knowledge of creative standards across modern platforms and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business goals alongside creative goals.
  • A robust portfolio that showcases a wide range of abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Can create digital artwork, illustrations or animations.
  • Motion graphics experience.
  • Background in human-centered design or design thinking.
