The Dallas Cowboys Spanish Content Team is looking for an experienced video editor dedicated to creating premium and compelling content for the Dallas Cowboys Spanish channels. This position is part-time and will have direct reporting to Spanish Content Manager. This position is located at The Star with the opportunity to work remotely on a week-to-week basis.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Skilled editor within Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects
  • Experienced DSLR shooter
  • Able to create storyboards for video content
  • Quality control of projects from concept to completion

Video Production:

  • Create video content as well as graphic elements for the production of Spanish content
  • Work closely with the Spanish Content Manager on all ideas and concepts for Spanish content
  • Knowledge of sports and the ideation process of creating content around football
  • Knowledge of video compression, transcoding, and encoding
  • Assist with on-location shoots with players and other talent

Additional Duties:

  • Content creation for other 3rd party events as needed for AT&T Stadium, Ford Center at The Star and other related events on The Star Campus, as it relates to Spanish content.
  • Assist with additional internal content request needs from other departments when available.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

  • Strong creative skills
  • Solid understanding of editing techniques
  • Interest in sports, culture and entertainment
  • Ability to work well under pressure and on multiple projects
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with others
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills (English & Spanish)
  • Excellent trouble-shooting abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Must be proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
  • Must be able to work flexible hours (including weekends and holidays) and on tight deadlines

Education and Formal Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience in live entertainment and video production
  • Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects expertise with proficiency in other Adobe creative applications

Experience:

  • Preferred 1-3 years of professional video production experience utilizing various postproduction techniques.  (Football/Sports/Entertainment background a plus)

  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Microsoft Office
