Facility Operations/Event Staff: Parking Operations
The MANAGER – SECURITY AND PARKING for The Star is responsible for all 24/7 security, event security and parking operations at the Frisco campus called The Star.
 
  • Security Responsibilities:
  • Support and manage provider of 24/7 security operations and event security operations
  • Assist with safety and security training regimen for employees of The Star
  • Assist with security plans for events hosted on property
  • Work facilities and events as needed (includes nights and weekends) (assignments as needed)
  • Report, track, and document incidents that occur on property through appropriate means
  • Coordinate with local, state, and/or federal law enforcement and fire agencies as needed
  • Conduct investigations as needed
  • Manage incident reporting to include coordination with legal and risk management departments
  • Manage all stadium security systems to include security cameras, access controls, visitor management, keys, locks, etc.
  • Act as liaison between Ford Center and the City of Frisco Public Safety to ensure appropriate staffing for all Ford Center events
  • Support other Dallas Cowboys corporate security initiatives/teams as required
 
Parking Responsibilities:
  • Attend parking and traffic meetings with parking vendor, Event Management, Frisco Police, and necessary city officials to ensure all event needs are met and other aspects of the operation are running optimally
  • Ensure compliance with city ordinance requirements pertaining to development of required traffic management plans for all events as required by ordinance 
  • Oversee traffic management plan for all events at The Star
  • Manage the relationship between The Star, City of Frisco, FISD, and TXDOT with respects to city’s Traffic Management Plan and ongoing construction as it relates to Ford Center events
  • Manage and approve overall budget and staffing for parking and traffic operations relative to event day operations
  • Develop and evolve Ford Center policies, procedures, and guidelines relative to tailgating and ride share
 
Qualifications:
  • College degree required
  • 3 years of related experience 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)  
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally 
  • Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects 
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure 
  • Able to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members whenever necessary 
  • Experience developing and executing event traffic plans preferred
  • Experience with access control software (programming and processes) preferred
  • Experience with security camera systems preferred
  • Experience with incident reporting software and report writing preferred
  • Experience conducting staff trainings (FTE, security, ushers, ticket takes, etc.) preferred
  • Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends (including on-call duties)
