SUMMARY

The ERP Analyst will be a key part of the IT team, responsible for delivering high quality solutions and always looking for ways to improve products and processes. This role requires knowledge of ERP systems, software configuration, database concepts and the ability to communicate with end users to understand the issues impacting company objectives.  This position offers ongoing opportunities for professional growth and certifications, while increasing knowledge of the various technologies deployed within a renowned, highly visible organization.  Positive attitude is essential.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with business stakeholders to identify and analyze business needs, gather requirements, and implement solutions that leverage native AX functionality
  • Provide AX support for supply chain and retail business units
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide documentation for solutions
  • Provide end user training to internal IT staff and/or business users
  • Make recommendations for solutions or continual improvement to business processes
  • Communicate business needs to the AX development team by translating business requirements into ERP module requirements
  • Work closely with developers to unit test all work to ensure it is high quality
  • Monitor system and SQL Database functions and make adjustments to optimize performance
  • Stay informed of new features and enhancements to AX/D365 and integrated platforms
  • Understand business requirements and maintain project updates with end user visibility
  • Available to work standard office hours (M-F, 8-5)
  • Available to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, extended hours as needed

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Proficient in Supply Chain areas of Procurement, Planning, and Production
  • Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server and database concepts
  • Proficient with Windows and M365 tools
  • Proficient with SQL Server Reporting Services a plus
  • Software Development and Design knowledge a plus (Azure DevOps, Visual Studio)

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Formal training and/or certifications with Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365
  • Participation in an AX 2012 to D365 migration
  • Familiarity with e-commerce, EDI, AIF, and web service integrations
