The Director of Digital and User Experience - AMBSE is responsible for strategy, optimization and ownership of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium digital/web and social platforms from end-to-end, and front-end user experience for Atlanta Falcons web properties. Digital and social media are indispensable and central components when authentically connecting to our consumers, both locally and nationally, and this position will play a critical role in user experience, content strategy and storytelling.

This high-profile, fast-paced and challenging opportunity requires strong leadership, management and organization skills by setting a clear user-first vision, building a detailed strategy, bringing innovative thinking to the team and managing deliverables in an efficient, timely manner. He/she will be responsible for implementing a best-in-class user experience for both the Atlanta Falcons and Mercedes-Benz Stadium web properties. The role will also entail leading editorial calendar planning and developing content that is inspiring and entertaining for Mercedes-Benz Stadium consumers, while ultimately driving business results.

This position will require integrated planning and content development in collaboration with the Arthur M. Blank Sports & Entertainment businesses including the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United FC, and Blank Family of Businesses, as well as marketing, fan experience, sales and communications functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead strategy for all Mercedes-Benz Stadium digital and social platforms
- Drive vision for user/fan experience across all Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Atlanta Falcons web applications (sites and apps)
- Develop new, user-first development roadmap for AMBSE mobile apps (Falcons, MBS, United)
- Provide day-to-day leadership of the digital and social staff for Mercedes-Benz Stadium and other Blank Family of Businesses digital / social platforms where needed
- Manage the relationship with vendors/developers
- Work closely with the Atlanta Falcons editorial team to ensure site layout matches content strategy
- Page creation and updates for mercedesbenzstadium.com and AtlantaFalcons.com using HTML, CSS, javascript and wordpress plugin implementation
- Guide and/or execute implementation of new technologies into mercedsbenzstadium.com and AtlantaFalcons.com
- Drive integrated content ideation from concept to completion across all Mercedes-Benz Stadium platforms
- Lead web reporting and development of user insights using Google Analytics and Adwords
- Site map creation and updates
- Integrate commerce into platforms while delivering inspiring, innovative content to drive KPI metrics.
- Serve as Editor in Chief for the mercedesbenzstadium.com website
- Serve as day-to-day site manager for AtlantaFalcons.com
- Develop measurement, optimization and reporting standards for website and app performance.
- Maintain a keen external awareness of emerging digital marketing and web trends, new technologies, mobile-first experiences, digital tools and techniques.
- Manage digital, social, and mobile platforms while ensuring the team is fully integrated into AMBSE Brand Strategy, as well as other internal departments. This will also require the ability to define and manage agency, partner and contractor engagement.
- Link site metrics to overall communications and brand metrics for evaluation of strategy versus execution.
- Budget planning and management

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Four-year degree
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience across digital and social media including strategy, digital marketing, social media, product management, web-development and/or a related field within high-paced, demanding professional setting. Agency experience acceptable
- Proven track record of leading a team, managing agencies/vendors and developing digital talent including product and content producers
- Passion for creating and presenting content ideas based on audience interests/insights
- Creation and management of social content calendars
- Extensive UI/UX background.
- Front end HTML, CSS, JS / developer knowledge for digital/web and social medium
- Experience developing WordPress sites.
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to use data/metrics to define vision and strategy.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Demonstrated product/project management experience across digital platforms from concept to completion.
- Ability to assess digital marketing and user experience roadblocks and quickly leverage digital knowledge and innovation to provide solutions
- Demonstrated experience integrating cross functional teams to define and deliver a product
