Under the direct supervision of the CFO, the Controller, Non-Football Operations (NFB) will oversee the day-to-day operations and provide direct supervision of the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Accounting for the non-football divisions and subsidiaries.  This includes managing tasks for the production of timely periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. The candidate will need to play a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives geared toward operational excellence, act as ambassador and liaison for club departments, clients, and vendors while advancing a culture of excellence and a positive, passionate, and creative work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities include:
1.      Develop and manage financial department staff's daily operation, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, accountants, and financial assistants.
2.      Motivate and lead finance team members by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback.  
3.      Maintains the general ledger and review/approval of all daily entries to ensure all financial transaction are properly recorded, filed, and reported for the club and subsidiaries.  
4.      Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies, cost reduction opportunities, and internal controls compliance.
5.      Collaborates, manages, and conducts auditing program services and agreed-upon procedures to assure that records are accurately maintained, and that established policies and practices are satisfactory and consistently followed. 
6.      Identify and implement process improvements within the department that continue to meet the standards for internal controls. Create systems to aid in reconciliations, prevent errors in data collection and calculations.
7.      Develop and prepares budget and financial plans based on research, data collection, and input from department managers for the Craft Culinary Concepts locations and various subsidiaries.
 8.      Administrate and manage banking, credit card, and finance software relationships, internal and external user access, PCI, and HIPPA compliance.
 9.      Identify and implement process improvement initiatives within the department to continue the standards for internal controls and build on efficiencies.
10.  Ensure required deadlines are met for monthly close, financial reporting, sales and income tax processing, annual audit submissions, agreed-upon procedure report submissions, and ad hoc reports and requests.

·         Ability to handle workload demands as the standards increase in complexity and constant expansion
·         Must be able to handle extremely high-stress situations and timelines that sometimes require rigorous work schedules
·         A strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
·         A strong background in accounting, business, and economics
·         High proficiency with PC operating systems and Microsoft Office Software
·         Advanced knowledge of database software
·         Substantial client relationship skills and leadership skills in a high-stress environment
·         Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot in a high stress, fast-paced work environment
·         Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
·         Must be detail-oriented and highly self-motivated with a shared commitment to excellence
Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (or equivalent experience) and a CPA or MBA.
Experience: Minimum 8 years of accounting, leadership, and management experience.
