The Director of Corporate Partnership Sales will be responsible for identifying, prospecting and selling sponsorship opportunities for their specific markets Arena Football League team. This candidate will be responsible for achieving and exceeding specific budgetary goals each year. This position will also manage the Client Services Manager to ensure that contractual obligations are fulfilled and business objectives are met for all clients.

 Primary Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business leads via prospecting and research
  • Maintain a high volume of dynamic cold calls
  • Conduct exceptional client needs based analysis and develop custom programs to meet each client’s objectives
  • Generate revenue through the sale of NEW CASH partnerships 
  • Create and present prospective sponsorship proposals for clients
  • Prepare sponsor related reports (tracking, revenue, inventory, etc.)
  • Maintain an active pipeline of new prospects and opportunities
  • Foster existing corporate partner relationships to ensure retention and growth
  • Network and attend appropriate business functions to generate leads and create relationships in the marketplace 
  • Build positive long-term relationships with key decision makers
  • Maintain a positive attitude and adapt to a fast-paced working environment with a strong attention to detail
  • Provide accurate and reliable reporting information to be used in forecasting and management updates
  • Be present, punctual and engaged during all scheduled departmental meetings and functions
  • Assist with departmental game-day activities, specifically related to client/prospect entertainment 
  • Additional duties as assigned by the league and C.O.O.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required 
  • Minimum of five (5) years of corporate sales experience required
  • Management experience required 
  • Rolodex of potential prospects 
  • Partner relationships in local market
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Self-motivated and a strong desire to succeed 
  • Proven time management, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated customer service experience
  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Flexible work schedule and ability work nights and weekends
