The Safety and Security Lead Supervisor is a key role to the Security of the 4949 SAP Performance Facility and Levi’s® Stadium. The Safety and Security Lead Supervisor oversees and coordinates the activities and personnel of assigned area to maintain security and safety of people and property. Conducts briefings and coordinates training and special assignments. This position works with every department in the organization which includes football operations, Stadium Operations, PR, executives & ownership. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The Safety and Security Lead Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of Safety and Security Supervisors and Team Members.
  • Assists the Manager, Safety and Security Operations with scheduling.
  • Train and lead subordinates in the performance of their duties and set an example of ethics and efficiency.
  • Has immediate control and supervision of assigned members.
  • Requires all assigned members to comply with policies and procedures of the Safety & Security Team, and take appropriate action when violations occur.
  • Frequently visits assigned members during their tour of duty, and conduct inspections of the members.
  • Responsible for the inventory of all Safety and Security Equipment and maintenance. 
  • Responds to critical incidents when notified and take command of operations when necessary.
  • During an emergency, has immediate control over their team members & response until relieved by a member of the SST Management Staff or other 49er designated Manger.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Abilities and Skills:
  •  Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles.
  • Knowledge of security and fire inspection procedures.
  • Skill in both verbal and written communication.
  • Skill in observing situations and decision making.
  • Skill in dealing courteously with the public.
  • Skill in leading the work of others.

Education and Experience:
  • Three years of experience in military, police or security field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Possession of a current California Guard Card and  California driver's license
  • Preferred 1-3 years of experience working with CCTV, Access control, X-Ray Technology and Vehicle EOD Inspection systems.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
