The Coordinator, Marketing is responsible for providing day-to-day marketing support to drive brand awareness, engagement, and positive sentiment. This position will assist in the development, execution, and optimization of the 49ers influencer marketing program and support other marketing initiatives as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Assists with relationship building and ongoing communication to existing and new influencers and/or their teams. For new influencers, ensure representation across different verticals (music, gaming, sports, etc.) and an increased focus on gen z audiences.
  • Develops activation tactics leveraging influencers, with a heavy focus on social content. Works with design and production team to request assets for content calendar.
  • Monitors all influencer social channels and tracks relevant posts. Engages with relevant influencer content from official 49ers team accounts
  • Coordinates and manages logistics for influencer gameday hosting and content shoots (timelines, credentials, transportation, etc.)
  • Assists with the management of the 49ers influencer database to ensure all information is logged and kept up-to-date.
  • Lead influencer marketing reporting and analytics including post-performance recaps highlighting influencer integrations and performance, influencer channel specific metrics, and influencer metrics on 49ers social channels.
  • Stays current with pop culture, trends and emerging social platforms to ideate content opportunities.
  • Manages influencer marketing budget as well as other assigned marketing budgets.
  • Manages inventory and shipping of marketing collateral
  • Responds to fan emails and letters, as needed.
  • Provides calendar support for the Chief Marketing Officer.
  • Provides light administrative support for the Marketing department and Chief Marketing Officer.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Encourages open communication and builds consensus. Uses tact and discretion in dealing with sensitive information, and keeps stakeholders informed of decisions and directives as appropriate.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree and at least 3 years of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.

5% of local travel time expected for the position.
