The Business Strategy & Analytics Analyst role will be focused on growing the team’s ancillary business as well as incubating and acquiring new businesses. The role will evaluate acquisition and partnership opportunities and research and analyze industries, companies, market segments and business models. 


Responsibilities and Duties:
 

●      Conduct rigorous market and financial analysis including market assessment, business case, synergies, build vs. buy modeling, ROI etc. to provide detailed guidance and scenarios into potential acquisitions and other strategic opportunities, and provide input into deal valuations
●      Conduct analyses of growth opportunities to analyze key market, customer, competitive, product and technology trends, and articulate required organic and inorganic options to meet growth objectives.
●      Conduct analyses to monitor and evaluate a pipeline of potential targets and prioritize a subset of viable targets that can deliver strategic objectives.
●      Research and articulate the competitive landscape and identify strategic opportunities and threats.
●      Develop presentation to present findings and recommendations to all stakeholders, including executive management and third-parties.
●      Other duties as assigned.
 
Required Abilities and Skills:
 
 
●      Strong financial modeling skills 
●      Strong understanding of accounting, corporate finance theory and valuation methodologies 
●      Ability to break down and review complex information.
●      Ability to use logic and reasoning to evaluate information to determine how it should be best interpreted.
●      Able to communicate confidently and competently to all types of audiences within a variety of delivery methods.
●      Creative and innovative; the ability to see alternatives and solutions.
●      Ability to initiate, design, plan, execute, monitor and evaluate outcomes of a project or initiative.
●      Organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, while balancing and prioritizing multiple or competing tasks.
●      Communicates orally and in writing in a clear, concise and impartial manner.

Education and Experience:

●      Bachelor’s degree equivalent degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Quantitative degree a plus.
●      Experience with Microsoft Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
●      2+ years management consulting, investment banking, or as an analyst leading a team is a plus.
