The Associate Producer is responsible for assisting in capturing and editing engaging video content to be distributed across 49ers channels including website, app, social media accounts, and in stadium video boards. This person contributes to the organization by helping to develop storytelling that serves marketing objectives to spark engagement and forge loyalty, as well as actively helping to push 49ers Foundation and Community Impact storylines. This person will be an independent self-starter with creative ideas who can take a concept from idea to completion including graphic elements, sounds, music and approvals as required.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Produces and edits both short-form and long-form videos demonstrating storytelling in a variety of formats.
  • Logs footage through CatDV software following departmental metadata structure and processes.
  • Works closely with teams across the organization to generate content that helps achieve organizational goals.
  • Ensures quality assurance of content before completing a project.
  • Interacts with key stakeholders to receive approval on projects ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Maintains knowledge and understanding of industry trends and monitors potential production software and equipment to stay up to date and create the most engaging content possible.
  • Assists team with logging, capturing, and editing of content, as well as running live streams for Press Conferences and Media Availability.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Required Abilities and Skills:
  • Ability to break down and review complex information.

  • Understands the most effective and efficient way to accomplish tasks within the parameters of organizational hierarchy, processes, systems, timelines, and budget.

  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, while balancing and prioritizing multiple or competing tasks.

Education and Experience:
  • High school degree or equivalent degree, specialized training or experience, and at least 1-3 years’ relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with video cameras, both large format and DLSR. Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Premiere, Media Encoder, and After Effects. Experience with CatDV or another cataloging software is a plus.

The employee will be sitting/standing in an indoor/outdoor facility the majority of the time and may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions. 

The employee is frequently required to sit, use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Travel:
20% of local travel time, 5% of intra and interstate travel requiring overnight stay, and 1% of international travel are expected for this position.
