Job Description
The Director of Ticket Sales oversees all facets of the development and execution of group ticket sales, new season ticket sales and season ticket wait list growth (The Perserve). This position requires a highly organized, hard-working, dedicated leader to maintain a robust group business. This position will also grow revenue through sales for The Preserve and supporter section season tickets as Allianz Field opens.
  • Manage team of 8 – 10 Sales Representatives, Account Executives and Managers
  • Assist in managing the overall sales efforts for the ticket sales staff, including directing sales activities, reviewing sales goals and training and mentoring staff
  • Oversee research and implementation plans to generate sales opportunities
  • Organize and present weekly sales updates for VP of Ticket Sales
  • Manage and maintain group sales through the transition to Allianz Field
  • Lead sales team towards organizational goal of 2,400 supporter season tickets 
  • Grow the Preserve, a waiting list for season tickets which provides presale opportunities
  • Provide the highest level of customer service
  • Work closely with all internal departments for cross-promotional initiatives
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects and existing clients
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or a combination of related education and work experience
  • Previous management of a team in a selling environment
  • Minimum of 3 years ticket sales experience in sports
  • Previous experience and success in selling tickets
  • Ability to train, coach, and motivate ticket sales team
  • Available to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
  • In-market experience
  • New stadium experience
  • Experience with SeatGeek
  • Experience with Salesforce
