Playfly Sports is looking for a Premium Sales and Hospitality Manager to join our team in Corvallis, OR.

This role will have a focus performing revenue generating actives with a focus on premium and hospitality areas.     
The primary purpose of this role will be selling premium offerings in designated athletic facilities for university home games through a relationship-based approach that prioritizes the needs of the prospect and providing first-class service to existing clients. 
  • Sell corporate high-end premium products associated with university athletics    
  • Sell multi-year premium club seats, loge and living room boxes, suite leases, and single event tickets   
  • Maintain and renew premium seat license agreements and ensure contractual fulfillment    
  • Meet personal sales and service goals    
  • Assist Assistant Athletic Director/General Manager, Sales and Service in the creation and execution of new business and retention strategies for all premium seating opportunities    
  • Employ solution-based selling to maximize the needs of the customer to help achieve their goals    
  • Maintain a high cadence of face-to-face meetings, both at our venues and in the corporate community    
  • Operate independently on a daily basis with a focus on outbound sales activities  
  • Provide first class service to existing and potential clients    
  • Work in collaboration with Assistant Athletic Director/General Manager, Sales and Service, to assist in development of premium service fan tracking, through survey creation and follow up communications    
  • Manage 10-15 part-time premium services team members, leading all hiring and onboarding efforts of student positions with assistance from Assistant AD/General Manager, Sales and Service, as needed  
  • Manage premium area gameday operations and hospitality efforts on all home football gamedays, including management of premium services team, coordinate staffing locations, assign weekly duties pertaining to hospitality operations to premium lead interns, and lead pre- and post-game meetings with premium services team.   
  • Oversee men’s and women’s basketball courtside and baseball room hospitality duties, scheduling out a staffing plan with four premium lead interns.   
  • Other job-related duties as assigned 
  • 2-4 years of previous sports sales experience    
  • Ability to clearly communicate and present proposals to prospects    
  • Desire to grow a career in the sports premium sales and/or hospitality industry    
  • Strong work ethic, self-starter, demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail, a genuine desire to help people    
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required    
  • Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)    
  • Excellent communication and listening skills    
  • Ability to remain focused on sales goals, work independently and as part of a team    
  • Professional image and demeanor at all times    
  • Ability to encourage collaboration, flexibility, equity, and inclusion that enables colleagues to contribute to their full potential, feel valued, and supported    
  • Ability to manage part-time premium service team members 
  • Availability to work outside typical office hours including nights and weekends as needed     
  • The work is sedentary in nature       
  • Walking, standing, bending and carrying of light office items is required     
  • The work is typically performed in an adequately lighted and climate-controlled office environment     
  • May require occasional travel
