Position Overview: Lindenwood Athletics and The Aspire Group seeks a positive and passionate individual that is committed to becoming a sports sales industry leader.  The associate should be passionate about and committed to preserving a culture that encourages, supports, and celebrates the diverse voices of our employees. 
 
Sales and Service Consultants act as the primary liaison between our current client base and Lindenwood Athletics, are responsible for renewing and growing all season ticket accounts and generating new business through upselling, cross selling, and referrals. The Sales and Service Consultant’s revenue will be generated primarily via outbound phone calls, supplemented with email marketing, face-to-face presentations and in-arena/stadium tours as appropriate.  Additional duties include handling all forms of inbound communication and being able to address and answer all questions, comments, or concerns, conducting onsite and offsite appointments, and attending season ticket member events for all ticketed Lindenwood Athletics Sporting events. Day to day leadership and mentoring of this career growth-oriented sports sales development program will be provided by the Ticket Sales and Service Leadership Team. Sales and Service Consultants will receive the tools, programs, and systems necessary for them to "BE GREAT."
 
This position will renew and sell ticketed sports including, but not limited to Football and Men’s and Women’s Basketball, their Hockey Programs, and a full menu of products – Season Tickets, Suites, Premium Seats, Donations, Groups, Mini Plans, and Single Game Tickets. 
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly yearly sales goals while exceeding client expectations in value and customer service. 
  • Service all existing season ticket members and donors
  • Grow sales significantly each week by attracting additional business leads. 
  • Perform outbound calls and service inbound calls for the Athletics Department for all ticketed sports. Inventory available for sale across at this location include, but is not limited to: season tickets, renewals, upgrades and add-ons, group tickets, partial/mini-plan ticket packages, single-game tickets, and stand-alone donations.
  • Facilitate season ticket member upgrades and additional seat requests.
  • Be prepared to sell on behalf of the Lindenwood Athletics Department & The Aspire Group. 
  • Maintain computerized records of all prospects and customers within the ticketing database. 
  • Set and execute out of office and arena tour appointments to grow relationships and revenue within the current fan base.
  • Contact area businesses and individuals via phone and networking events to sell season tickets, corporate, partial plans, and group ticket plans.
  • Make a minimum of 30 connections (conversations) with fans daily. 
  • Make 80 - 100 calls a day. 
  • Work home games and season ticket member events, performing various ticket sales and service duties throughout the game.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
 
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Ticket sales experience helpful but not required.
  • Previous customer service or retail sales experience; display a genuine desire to help people.
  • Desire to start and grow a career in the sports ticket sales industry or collegiate athletics. 
  • Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and detail oriented. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills.
  • Detail-oriented 
  • Professional image and demeanor. 
  • Ability to work well with others and comfortable taking initiative. 
  • Ability to encourage collaboration, flexibility, equity and inclusion that enables colleagues to contribute to their full potential, feel valued, and supported.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends when needed.  
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. 
  • Paciolan Spectra software experience is a plus.
 
Compensation:  Competitive base salary with the opportunity to earn commission upon meeting or exceeding ticket sales goals.  Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, other voluntary health benefits and 401k. Excellent paid time off program.
